The Headguard X protective headband is compatible with the ACT Head Impact Tracker head sensor and Head Sensor Pro. The sensor is easily placed inside the headband under the inner lining pad, next to the velcro fastening.
Data from the ACT Head Impact Tracker makes invisible forces, rapid head movements, impacts, blows and jolts visible, objectively measured and actionable. This can help athletes, parents, coaches and team personnel better recognise potentially hazardous events and track the cumulative physical load to the brain over time.
The ACT Head Impact Tracker sensor is not included with the Headguard X compatible headband.
The padded Headguard X combines protection with maximum comfort. It features thin 10 mm soft padding with unique Body Adjust Technology (BAT), which allows the padding to mould perfectly to the shape of the head and gives the same feeling as a regular headband.
The padding helps protect players from cuts, bruises and contusions. The headband meets ASTM F1446-2020 and NOCSAE safety standards. For added comfort, it includes a removable, machine-washable soft inner lining that absorbs sweat.
Headguard X is designed to suit different playing styles and hair types. The easy-to-use, fully adjustable velcro system ensures a secure fit for different head sizes. Whether you are a youth player or a seasoned professional, Headguard X provides reliable protection and comfort on the field.
